Fully equipped with stovetop, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and fridge.
We provide pantry essentials including coffee, tea, milk, sugar, oil, and spices.
Enjoy pure filtered water straight from the tap with our newly installed system.

Bedrooms:
Main bedroom: Master Bedroom: Features a king-size luxury mattress, walk-in robe, and a private ensuite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and elegant finishes.
Second bedroom: King single bed with equally high-quality bedding.

Bathroom:
Indulge in the clawfoot bathtub with dimmable smart mood lighting, perfect for a relaxing soak.

Loft Area:
A cozy day bed for lounging, reading, or enjoying the loft balcony’s scenic views.
Climate Comfort:
Stay warm with a gas heater in the lounge (heats the entire cottage) and a convection heater in the main bedroom.

Set on a working permaculture farm with sweeping views of farmland and mountain ranges, the cottage is just 40 km from Melbourne. Ideally located in Silvan, it's a gateway to the Yarra Valley’s wineries and the Dandenong Ranges. Quaint towns like Monbulk, Mt Evelyn, Seville, and Wandin are just minutes away, with local cafes, shops, and pick-your-own orchards nearby.

Stairs & Loft:
Please take care—some steps are irregular. Once familiar, they’re easy to navigate.

Smoking allowed outdoors only. Dispose of butts properly.
No pets, no parties.
Respect quiet hours: 10 PM – 7 AM.

Place used towels in the bathroom; used linens on the bed or in the laundry basket
Take out rubbish and recycling to bins outside
Turn off all lights, heaters, and appliances
Lock up and return the key to the lockbox

? A Bit of History
The property was once part of a grand estate called The Barak, named after its original owner, Elizabeth Barak. Originally the homestead for neighbouring farms, it was later converted into a retirement lodge in the 1970s before becoming today’s peaceful countryside escape. Surrounded by berry farms and boasting heritage trees, the land has long been a place of comfort and care.
