Tranquility Cottage

Our cottage is conveniently situated within close proximity to the numerous sights & delights that the Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges are famous for. Whether you are indulging in wine tasting at the many award local winning wineries, attending a local farmers markets (Yarra Valley Market at Punt Road Winery, ECOSS, Yarra Glen Racecourse, Monbulk Produce Market, Montrose Market, Emerald Market) visiting an art gallery (Tarra Warra Museum of Art, Yering Station), berry picking at the local farms, immersing yourself in one of the many beautiful botanical gardens (Alfred Nicholls, Cloudehill Gardens), hiking or mountain biking in the bush tracks, our cottage is centrally connected &
easily accessible to all activities. The cottage is a separate dwelling from the main residence & is exceptionally comfortable, it has
everything you should need. Complete with split system (heat & air con), king size bed, TV (with chrome cast), microwave, kettle, toaster, cook top, oven, & unlimited internet.
It is north facing & is positioned in a leafy & tranquil Mount Evelyn neighbourhood with parkland surrounds. Backing onto a quiet reserve you will wake to the sounds of the kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets & other numerous bird life. Enjoy a tranquil evening sitting by the fire pit
toasting marshmallows & star gazing. We are a short stroll to cafes & eateries in Mount Evelyn, an 8 minute walk to the closest bus stop
which can take you to the Lilydale Train Station or in the other direction, Belgrave and we are only a 10 minute walk to the Warburton Rail Trail. We will arrange contactless check in via key lockbox (code given on booking) Telstra (& other Telstra carriers) work best, as mobile phone reception can be limited in the valley but no problem using wifi calling. Although we love pets & children, we are not positioned to host either.

  peaceful little cottage comfy bed ,
  Sofa would be more comfy than the rocker chairs not good to get out of with bad back .only thing I didn’t like is where the toilet is ..
  Big fridge a bonus.
